Acne bringing armor back?
Industrial Jewelry designer Husam El Odeh collaborates with another fashion line, this time for Acne Spring 2010 collection where he produced a series of armor panels for the blue, white and grey washes.
These jeans are screaming Rihanna.

"Jewelry...is almost secondary and essentially useless. I love useless things; they are undervalued in my opinion."
"As for the things I make, my initial inspiration is always reality, and reality is first of all the body that experiences it. Everything else is to me in relation to the body."

Lanvin for Acne Launch
By Alice Watt | Posted: 20 November 2009 ELLE UK
As if the imminent arrival of Christmas wasn't enough, tomorrow sees the launch of Lanvin's second collaboration with Swedish jeans label Acne- and we know which event has us the most excited.
Alber Elbaz, chief designer at Lanvin and all round fashion genius has created a collection to work across both men's and women's wardrobes- all entirely made from denim. Last year's Lanvin for Acne collaboration was an instant sell-out and this year's light-weight denim and draping is sure to be as popular.
The various shades of faded denim combined with classic Lanvin tailoring makes the pieces lust-worhty rather than a denim-on-denim 80s disaster. Cropped jackets and sleeveless blouses create an altogether feminine, silhouette-enhancing collection while the one-shoulder silk blouses seen on Lanvin's S/S10 catwalk are reflected in the one-shoulder dresses and gathered skirts. We predict the collection to sell out quicker than last year so get ready for tomorrow's launch.
